Volunteer Roles

There are many different opportunities and a wide range of activities that you can become involved with. Here is a list of some of the volunteer roles available:

  9. Driving – Shop Deliveries

  14. Reception
  15. Ward Trolley
  16. Teabar
  17. Hospice Kiosk (opening late spring)

A few hours a week makes a huge difference to St Mary’s and helps keep the Hospice running. Most areas work on a rota system and the time commitment can vary from two hours once a fortnight to four hours once a week. Your hours as a volunteer can be arranged to fit in with your other commitments.

How To Become A Volunteer

You will need to complete an Enrolment Form and provide us with the name and addresse of two referees. You will then be invited to meet with the Voluntary Services Manager to discuss your application and volunteer placement.
