Do Something Life Changing

‘To be part of an organisation that helps them to realise they are still very much a valued member of society and still have something to offer would be very rewarding to me.’ John, Catering volunteer

Our volunteers form an award-winning team, and their contribution to the local community was recognised by the 2008 Queen's Award for Voluntary Service.

Over 400 volunteers give their time and expertise to us free of charge and help us to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Why Volunteer?

People tell us that volunteering is a way of giving something back. What you do will make a difference, and you will be able to help people at the most critical times of their lives.

In addition, the Hospice offers the opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills and uncover hidden talents that you never knew you had.

No experience is necessary as we provide on the job training and an induction programme.
