Stop press! You can now gift aid your donated goods at our shops.
You may have heard of gift aid on cash donations but now you can help us generate further funds simply by allowing us to claim gift aid on the proceeds from goods you donate at any of our shops. This enables the Hospice to boost the value of your donation by reclaiming 25p in tax for each £1 generated.
In order to do this you’ll need to be a UK tax payer. Just visit one of our shops and fill in one simple form; we’ll do the rest.
In return we’ll give you an individual ID card to join our gift aid members’ club, and then every time you donate at any of our shops we’ll ask you for your personal ID number so we can track the sales of your goods. All you have to do is keep donating to us and giving us your ID number. From then on we’ll write to you every so often to let you know how much you’ve raised for us through the scheme.
