Where your money goes

Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice cares for over 1,000 local families every year. We are a charity and make no charge to our patients or their families for the services provided.

Over 85 pence in every £1 we spend goes directly on patient care, and our services currently cost over £13,975 day (£580 per hour).

Less than 40% of our income comes from the NHS, so we depend on donations to help fund our vital work.

£250

The total daily cost of drugs, dressings and other medical supplies for all the patients being cared for in the Hospice

A 10-day stay for an inpatient
