Birmingham St Mary's Hospice receives a great deal of support from the local community. We would like to build on these links and establish more interactions with local schools and colleges.
There are many ways for schools to get involved:-
Education
We would be happy to talk to you about the work we do, we can come to your school or you can come and visit us at the Hospice.
Recycling
Your school could recycle to raise money for the Hospice.
Fundraising
Fundraising for the Hospice comes in many shapes and sizes, from non-uniform days to fashion shows and charity weeks. However, whatever you do, the most important thing is that you have fun!

Young Citizen of the Year
In Septemeber 2008 we will be launching a new initiative to encourage young people to support the hospice. This may be through a number of volunteering roles or taking part in and organising fundraising events.
We are looking for schools or young people’s organisations as well as individuals to take part. We are holding a competition for young people to design a logo for the Young Citizen of the Year Scheme to inspire others to join.
For more information please contact Charlotte on 0121 4721191.
Many schools already support us. King Edward VI Camp Hill Girls raised money for the Hospice through their House Fair.
