Butterfly Funds
Setting up a memorial fund in a loved one’s name is a very special way of remembering them and celebrating their life. Named after the person, the fund offers family, friends and work colleagues the opportunity to contribute to a living memory.
Some people like to have a specific goal in mind for their Butterfly Fund. We often suggest raising the money required to care for an inpatient for a week (approximately £3,900). A visit on a special occasion – a birthday or anniversary for example – can also be arranged so people can see how valuable the tribute fund is to daily life here at the Hospice.
The Butterfly Fund can remain open as long as desired. There is no obligation or monetary target to reach unless the family wishes to set one for themselves.
