International fashion designer, Alvin Loy, a Patron of St. Mary's Hospice held a spectacular fundraising event in the heart of Birmingham on Saturday 7 June 2008.
Alvin's latest couture collection was showcased on a stunning set at the International Convention Centre in front of 500 guests.
Alvin was joined by some of the Eastenders cast, who kindly put up an autographed Albert Square sign for the auction.

Nick Bailey, Ricky Groves and Cliff Parisi (Doctor Trueman, Gary Hobbs and Minty) with Alvin.

The amazing top prize in the raffle was a brand new Chevrolet Kalos supplied by Concept Saab. After the event, Alvin came to St. Mary's to make the presentation to John Gardner, holder of the lucky winning ticket.
With incredible auction items such as the opportunity to join Alvin Loy at Paris Fashion Week and a week in an Italian villa , the evening raised a fabulous amount for the Hospice.
We would like to thank everybody who made the event such a huge success, particularly Alvin, who put in so much energy - not only on the night but in the months leading up to the show.
