Ladies Lunches, Events to be Seen at
Our popular Ladies' Lunches are must-attend events for women who like to stay connected in Brum - and the first one of 2011 on March 23 raised over a £1,000 for Birmingham St Mary's Hospice.
Taking place at top Italian restaurant Cielo in Brindleyplace, the event attracted nearly 60 guests, who enjoyed a delicious three-course meal, while catching up with friends and doing a spot of networking.
Cielo provided a wonderful two-choice selection, which was incredibly well received - particularly the tiramisu!
The event was made possible thanks to our tireless Ladies' Committee. And for many guests this was their first Birmingham St Mary's Hospice Ladies' Lunch, a number of whom expressed a strong interest in joining the committee post event.
Tips and advice from guest speaker Beth Goodrham - personal stylist and shopper - were also extremely well received, as was the hospice's What a Difference a Day Makes DVD.
