Funky fundraisers have strutted their stuff for Birmingham St Mary's Hospice - and brought in an estimated £12,000 for the charity.
Around 400 funksters packed the Jam House in St Paul's Square for the
event on Wednesday, October 6.
Hospice Corporate and Events Fundraiser Yvonne McPhillips thanked everyone who attended.
"Our thanks go to Demons of Tune who gave a brilliant performance. It was a truly exceptional evening and we were amazed and delighted with the turn-out.
"The music was fantastic as was the vibe.
The costumes were amazing too, but left us wondering whether we really did dress like that in the '70s."
Money raised at the event will go to caring for people with life-limiting illnesses across Birmingham and Sandwell.
Yvonne added that Birmingham St Mary's Hospice was truly grateful to band members and organisers Tim Clay, Patrick Pryce, Martin Cordey, Manjit Virk, John Heaphy, Mark Summers, John Van Boolen, Guy Hemington, David Willkes, John Alderson, Rick Smith, Melissa Dickinson and Claire Mulligan.
