Tea at Three will be taking place on 16th May 2008, but feel free to host your event anytime throughout May or June.
It’s a simple and fun way to raise money for the Hospice. The event can be held at home, at work or with your local church or group, and it can be as small or big as you want- anything from inviting friends round for a cuppa to holding a Mad hatters tea party!
The time you take for tea will enable us to give our time to listen to others. We provide counselling and social support for patients, carers and family members to enable them to reassess, adapt and manage the difficult illness. We also offer counselling for children whose relative is ill and we work with families to support children through the illness and death of a relative.
When Dollie was diagnosed with Cancer, she and her husband George both received help and support from the Hospice initially at home and then in the Day Hospice. George commented “It was nice to talk to someone who had the time to listen and understand, just when so few seemed to care.”
We hope you'll join us then for a cuppa, you can find out more by calling Charlotte Sudbury on 0121 4721191 or on the Tea Break website - www.bigteabreak.co.uk
