We're looking for 30 people to walk, jog or run in the Great Midlands Fun Run on Sunday 6th June. Join our team by signing up online and then email Charlotte or call her on 0121 472 1191 for your sponsorship pack.
We are hoping to raise over £5,000 from this event. This £5,000 could fund a 10 day stay in the Inpatient Unit enabling a person to receive holistic care from professional, experienced medical and nursing staff, occupational and physiotherapists and social workers. The emphasis of our care is on quality of life and maintenance of the patients' self esteem and dignity.
Jane talks about when her sister Jenny was admitted “When my sister came to stay with you her life was unbearable with pain and she was terrified at the thought of ‘a hospice’. Within minutes of arriving you promised to make a difference, and true to your word, 10 days later she went home with her pain under control. That was precious to us.”
