The Companions are a fantastic group of supporters who generously support a different area of our work every year. They also get to know us a bit better and find out more about how we provide our services to our local community.
Last year our Companions raised over £20,000. This has helped support the Community Palliative Care Team during a time of great change in their working structure, whilst still providing professional care to their patients in their own homes. Please click here to see more details of the changes that have taken place.
This year, the Companions will be focussing on the physio and occupational therapy teams who work closely together with inpatients, their families and carers. Over the coming year these teams are looking to develop their ways of working in a number of ways. For more details, please click here.
There are three levels of Companions, Hospice, Silver and Gold, and you can also become a Lifetime Companion. Each level asks for a differing amount of support from as little as £10, and gives different benefits to the supporter.
