The Use of Syringe Drivers

About the session:

This study session will give participants the opportunity to practically explore how syringe drivers are used in a health care setting and will include:

  1. why we use syringe drivers
  2. the differences between syringe driver pumps
  3. common medications used in syringe drivers
  4. a practical session for participants to handle syringe driver pumps

Please can you be aware that Graseby pumps will be used within these sessions.

Certificate of attendance and lunch included.

Target Audience:

Health & Social Professionals either working in a Generalist or Palliative Care setting or related areas

Do I have to pay for this event?

The best person to answer this and give you detailed information is your Professional Development Department or Line Manager, as funding may be available via contracts within the training venue.

Alternatively self funding charges are £75 per person.
