Spirituality and Culture in End of Life Care

About the course:


This session will explore the concept of Spiritual Care and Cultural Diversity and their practical application to varied health care settings. 

This day includes: 

  1. How we address Spiritual Needs of Patients
  2. How this relates to their Religious Needs
  3. Anxieties and Distress associated with a diagnosis of Terminal Illness, Death and Bereavement
  4. The Role of Culture during this time


Certificate of attendance and buffet lunch included.

Target Audience:


Health & Social Care Professionals and Chaplains either working in a Generalist or Palliative Care setting or related areas.

 

Do I have to pay for this event?

The best person to answer this and give you detailed information is your Training or Line Manager, as funding may be available via contracts within the training venue and Consortium organisations.

Alternatively self funding charges are £90 per person.
