Sharing the Care Conference
About the course:
To celebrate World Palliative Care Day, Birmingham St Mary's Hospice is hosting a highly participative conference to create stronger partnerships between local people and professionals in caring for people with life threatening illness.

Objectives for the day are that participants will have:
- gained a greater understanding of the strengths of local community support systems
- created stronger links between participants
- identified the positive ways in which we work together
- found new ways of communicating and problem solving
- sown the seeds of a creative partnership across communities and professional staff
- been introduced to an online project to facilitate difficult conversations: "Dying to Talk"
