End of Life Care: the essentials for Health Care Assistants
About the course:
This day is designed specifically for Health Care Assistants (HCA's) and will look at the HCA's role in conjunction with Palliative & End of Life Care issues.
Content will include:
- An Overview of Palliative Care
- Providing Spiritual Care
- The HCA's role in providing Holistic Care
- The Principles of Symptom Assessment
- Communication Skills
Certificate of attendance and lunch included.

Alternatively self funding charges are £90 per person
