End of Life Care: the essentials for Health Care Assistants

About the course:

This day is designed specifically for Health Care Assistants (HCA's) and will look at the HCA's role in conjunction with Palliative & End of Life Care issues.

Content will include:

  1. An Overview of Palliative Care
  2. Providing Spiritual Care
  3. The HCA's role in providing Holistic Care
  4. The Principles of Symptom Assessment
  5. Communication Skills

Certificate of attendance and lunch included.

Alternatively self funding charges are £90 per person
