End of Life Care & Palliative Care Emergencies
About the Course
The first in a series of symptom management sessions which will address the assessment and management of palliative care emergenices and the management of symptoms at the end of life.
We will cover topics such as:
Terminal Restlessness
Pain
Superior Vena Cava Obstruction
Spinal Cord Compression
Myoclonus
Hypercalcaemia
Stridor
Certificate of attendance and buffet lunch included
Target Audience
Health and Social Care Professionals, Qualified Nursing and Medical Staff
Course Fees
Places are free for NHS Staff working for NHS Organisations within the NHS West Midlands Strategic Health Authority.
For Non NHS Staff the course fee is £50 per delegate.
