This course will provide Health & Social staff the opportunity to explore the core components of Palliative Care.
This course consists of three individual study days:
End of Life Care: the essentials
The Principles of End of Life Care
Ethics
Future Developments
Difficult Communication Issues
Communication
Communication skills and their practical application
Case studies
Culture and communication
Symptom Management and Syringe Drivers
Pain Management and Assessment
End of Life Symptom Management
GI Symptom Management
Syringe Drivers
Applicants must attend all 3 study days.
Certificate of attendance and lunch included.
Health & Social Care Professionals either working in a Generalist
or Palliative Care setting or related areas
The best person to answer this and give you detailed information is your Training or Line Manager, as funding may be available via contracts within the training venue and Consortium organisations.
Alternatively self funding charges are £270 per person for this course.
