End of Life Care: the essentials for HCA's

 

About the session:

This day is designed specifically for Health Care Assistants (HCA's) and will look at the HCA's role in conjunction with Palliative and End of Life Care Issues.

Content will include:

  1. An overview of palliative care
  2. Providing Spiritual Care
  3. The HCA's role in providing Holistic Care
  4. The Principles of Symptom Assessment
  5. Communication Skills

 

Certificate of attendance and lunch included.

Target Audience:

Health & Social Care Professionals either working in a Generalist or Palliative Care setting or related areas.

Do I have to pay for this event?

The best person to answer this and give you detailed information is your Professional Department or Line Manager, as funding may be available via contracts within the training venue.

Alternatively self funding charges are £75 per person
