Community Staff Nurse & District Nurse 5-Day Palliative Care Training Programme
About the programme:
This programme is designed to provide community based nurses with an in-depth understanding of Palliative Care Issues and will aim to:
- examine current practice and evidence in relation to symptom management
- recognise core issues for non malignant disease patients within end of life care
- demonstrate an understanding of ethical and communication issues in relation to caring for Palliative Care patients
Certificate of attendance and lunch included.

The best person to answer this and give you detailed information is your Training or Line Manager, as funding may be available via contracts within the training venue and Consortium organisations.
Alternatively self funding charges are £450 per person

Wednesday 2nd March, Wednesday 9th March, Wednesday 16th March, Wednesday 23rd March and Wednesday 30th March 2011

9.30 am to 4.30 pm
