Aspects of Bereavement

About the session:

Bereavement care is an important and challenging apsect of health care.  The session aims to explore the theoretical component of loss and grief whilst also linking theory and practice by exploring the more practical aspects of providing bereavement care.

The day will include:

  1. Exploring loss and grief theories
  2. Case Studies
  3. Caring for bereaved patients/carers
  4. How to care for individuals facing loss and bereavement

Certificate of attendance and lunch included.

Target Audience:

Health & Social Professionals either working in a Generalist or Palliative Care setting or related areas

Do I have to pay for this event?

The best person to answer this and give you detailed information is your Professional Development Department or Line Manager, as funding may be available via contracts within the training venue.

Alternatively self funding charges are £75 per person.
