Aspects of Bereavement

About the course:


Bereavement care is an important and challenging aspect of health care.  This session aims to explore the theoretical component of loss and grief whilst also linking theory and practice by exploring the more practical aspects of providing bereavement care.

The day will include: Exploring Loss and Grief Theories; Case Studies; Caring for Bereaved Patients/Carers; How to Care for Individuals facing Loss and Bereavement.


Certificate of attendance and buffet lunch included.

Target Audience:


Health & Social Care Professionals either working in a Generalist or Palliative Care setting or related areas.

Course Fees:


Places are FREE for NHS Staff working for NHS Organisations within the NHS West Midlands Strategic Health Authority and are subject to a £20.00 deposit cheque which is refundable on attendance.

For Non NHS Staff the course fee is £90 per delegate.
