Aspects of Bereavement

About the course:


Bereavement care is an important and challenging aspect of health care.  This session aims to explore the theoretical component of loss and grief whilst also linking theory and practice by exploring the more practical aspects of providing bereavement care.

The day will include:

  1. Exploring Loss and Grief Theories
  2. Case Studies
  3. Caring for Bereaved Patients/Carers
  4. How to Care for Individuals facing Loss and Bereavement


Ceritificate of attendance and buffet lunch included.

Target Audience:


Health & Social Care Professionals either working in a Generalist or Palliative Care setting or related areas.

Do I have to pay for this event?

The best person to answer this and give you detailed information is your Training or Line Manager, as funding may be available via contracts within the training venue and Consortium organisations.

Alternatively self funding charges are £90 per person.
